Good evening,
Has anyone out there tried out the Udoo x86? I am tempted by it as it is an Intel-based SBC, which would mean it should run just about anything my desktop machine would run.
It LOOKS interesting but the price is quite a bit higher. that's a little bit of money to spend on a single board pc.. especially when overheating becomes more of an issue

Yeah, it being intel and (assuming) taking less power than an actual desktop is what makes it attractive to me. The price makes me want to continue the Pi route, or some other ARM-based SBC that is similarly priced.
