    before I got my second shingles shot,the nurse said that I was going to get extremely ill. it wasn't that bad, but it was worse than any vaccine I've
    ever had. I was extremely fatiguedvery weakand very tiredfor several
    days.after that, I was fine.I'm sure that was nothing like what it would have been like to actually had the shingles.I'm glad to be vaccinated.

    I'll have to check on the second shot. Some of the vaccines I had in the Army were horrible. The typhoid shot made me rather ill for over a week.

    Same as, I am a yellow belly when it comes to pain :)

    Men are wimps when it comes to pain. But, here's a good joke that
    should give everyone a smile.

    I told that when I was hospitalized several years ago, and the
    nurses loved it!!

    Sean,

    I need to get my second shingles vaccine shot. I did get the
    first one a while back and now that I'm feeling better, I
    should get the second shot.

    I had mine several years ago. I'll see my PCP on Oct. 29 for a
    full physical and wellness check.

    I'll either get the flu shot there, or if I qualify, take part
    in a health study flu shot. It lasts 6 months, and I'll get some
    nice financial compensation afterwards

    When I had my heart attack, my 2 friends came in on their motorcycles. The young nurses thought they were the helicopter crew. I think we all laugh about it to this
    day :)
