    It has been scary at times when I see the garden shed move
    across the garden. And it has some heavy stuff in it

    The National Weather Service just upgraded the Enderlin, North
    Dakota tornado this past June to an EF-5, with 210 mph winds. The
    biggest evidence of such as that it blew fully loaded railroad
    cars (including tankers) off the rails.

    I do want to see a hurricane and a volcano before I push up the daisies. Both are on my bucket list. I am thinking of flying to Iceland next spring or autumn. The US will more than likely be Texas in a couple of years time

    Married twice, divorced twice so I have been zapped a lot :)

    Married once, widowed once...and that was the end of it.

    At this stage of life, folks have too much baggage to deal with,
    and I don't want or need the extra drama. I have enough of my own!!

    That's correct. What gets me though is that so many folks are
    ignorant about the weather. They think they can check the forecast
    on Sunday, and it won't change for a week.

    Truth be told, the weather changes more than you change your
    underwear (never mind creating your own undergarments storm <G>).

    I've seen it go from clear skies to tornadic storms in as little
    as 20 minutes...and tornadoes have been clocked at 90 mph or more.
    They don't have to stop for red lights...they'll take them out!!

    We get some pretty heavy storms just before winter here late in
    October into November usually. My place is old and built on pillars
    and one year we had one where the wind hit 165 kph (102 mph) and
    for a while I wondered if my place was going to pull a Wizard of Oz
    thing on me.. "Auntie M.. Auntie M!!"..

    I could just see my house landing on my Ex Wife.. B)

    Rob,

    We get some pretty heavy storms just before winter here late in
    October into November usually. My place is old and built on
    pillars and one year we had one where the wind hit 165 kph (102
    mph) and for a while I wondered if my place was going to pull a
    Wizard of Oz thing on me.. "Auntie M.. Auntie M!!"..

    We have a threat of tornadoes in Arkansas Saturday and Saturday
    night, but the highs next week look to be in the 70s.

    I could just see my house landing on my Ex Wife.. B)

    There was a meme where you see Dorothy standing next to her
    house that was lifted by the tornado into Oz, and the house is
    on top of the Wicked Witch Of The West. She tells her fairy
    godmother "I get first dibs on the shoes". <G>

    If you want to really hear something funny, look on YouTube
    for Archie Campbell and his spoonerisms. My 2 favorites are:

    1) Rindercella - where she slops her dripper.

    2) The Pee Thrittle Igs - the wolf huffed and puffed, and hoed
    her blouse down.

    It takes a lot of practice to those, and to keep a straight face!!

    about. I think he was frequently a guest (Host?) on a show
