Hi everyone,

I'm at my local Feddy's on my "new"laptop, Dell Latitude E7240, and I
just had some amazing chili cheese fries. Their chili is amazing! It's a
nice (but cool) day outside. For once, I am in a good mood and it's
enjoyable.

I like Freddy's bettwr than Steak 'n Shake but I do love the orange
milkshake at S'n'S.

It's nice to get out of the house once in a while. I can't wait for spring.

I feel for those people in serious weather. Yesterday was cold and
sunny, around 50 degrees. I got my tires replaced, and instead of
going to a coffee shop took a walk around the neighborhood. It was nice
moving around and getting some fresh air - especially after spending
last week in Las Vegas casino at a conference. :)

We don't have Freddy's around here (yet anyway). First time I saw one was
in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. The burger I ordered was pretty good. The side
of onion rings was enough to feed a small army. ;)

Ol' Fort Lost In The Woods...I went through there in December 1995 on a Greyhound going from Fort Hood to Evansville, Indiana for Christmas break.
We actually were stuck in a parking lot due to snow.

I am still learning how to eat and talk with the dentures. I can barely
taste my food and sometimes, I can't tell where my tongue is in my mouth
when I am eating until I bite it.

In 2023, I was following a portion of old US 66 that goes through there.

Freddy's chili cheese fries were superb but they caused me a lot of GI troubles today. But I'm dumb enough to eat them again!

There are things that cause similar issues for me that, if I find them delicious, I also don't make a big effort to avoid. Maybe to eat them
earlier in the day, but not to avoid them entirely. ;)

I am still learning how to eat and talk with the dentures. I can barely taste my food and sometimes, I can't tell where my tongue is in my mouth
when I am eating until I bite it.

That would be annoying. I wear a mouthpiece at night. At first, I would
have a plastic taste in my mouth that lasted a while into the day. Now, it
is usually gone before I am ready to eat anything. Hopefully, you will
also have similar experiences.

There are parts that are pretty neat. If I had it to do over again, there
are other parts I'd probably skip.

Going to wear those and my hearing aids that have returned after a six-week wait for repair tomorrow for one of my standing doctor's appointments. Hopefully people will understand me when I talk!

I hate hauling trailers. My dream is to get a VW Westie camper and do
something similar. I'd like to re-do a trip I did back in 2004 or so -
Vegas, along route 66, through Arizona, to the grand Canyon, then up
through New Mexico to Albuquerque and Taos, then back to Vegas.

Now, they can get pretty tricked out - I've seen some interesting solar
mods, spray insulation in the walls, Subaru engine swaps...but still no
shower unless you count an outdoor solar shower.

I use a Steak Knife and a Fork to eat Pizza, Steak etc.
It helps me eat them if I cut that type of food in small pieces.

My favorite YouTube video is Andy Griffith telling the What it was was football story.
First time I heard it was when played it on a 78RPM record.
Since then I found it on YouTube called What it was was football - short film.
