From manikandan radhakrishnan@110:300/1.1 to All on Wed Apr 11 16:11:55 2012
    Hi,

Can someone please advice if lynx OS provides support for
    gethostbyname API.
I am sorry, I do not know which version of lynx OS i am using,
but it is surely not the latest one (5.0).

This information will be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Manikandan.

    Hi Steve,

    Thanks for your reply.
I am using lynx OS 3.1, it doesnt appear to be supporting the
native gethostbyname API (the like which is given by POSIX standards).
I have a manual of system calls supported by this version of the OS,
and I dont see this API listed in it. So, wanted to know if maybe it
is supported in the latest versions maybe..

    Regards,
    Manikandan
