• Joe's system

    Hi Nick,

Just a note here about Joe Delahaye's system. I see you have listed yourself as NC 249, and I understand that <grin>.

I've removed 1:249/303 from my config so that means mail will not be sent out to Joe's system any longer. He's not in the nodelist of course, so this was necessary with my BBBS mailer. I _could_ change it to your listing of 249/0, but without knowing you wanted me to do this, I wouldn't do so.

Since his system is on auto-pilot still, and still uploading packets (ouch) I had to put his system in my "don't connect" file to stop the incoming packets from an unlisted node. BBBS sure doesn't like it when traffic from an unlisted
    node arrives here. :(

Let me know if you want me to add you to my config for 249/0's echomail. I see
Net 249 still has a number of downlinks so let me know if these people are now connecting to you for echomail/files.

    Thanks Nick :)

    Take care,
    Janis

Sorry but I will not be able to look at any of this until the weekend... stuff going on at home and work here at the moment.

I only listed myself as Interim NC and I have yet to reach out to everyone.

Nobody in Net 249 (or even 229) is very "vocal" about *C or segment changes
in fact I doubt that very much outbound-traffic comes from these nets.
