I also would appreciate it if Zone 2 was kept out of Z1C for the
remainer of my tenure, certainly during the election. We have a good number of Zone 1 members who could handle the "election coordinator"
or whatever job.
I only mention this since I was forwarded Michiel van der Vlist's
netmail to all of the Z1 RCs...
It's been a long time since we've had an election in Zone 1 for
Zone 1 coordinator (quite <grin>).
Okay, I'll get the ball rolling.
We need to decide on an election coordinator and timeframe...

I was just going to bring that up, this is definately a Z1-specific
matter.

Interesting that I never received it. I'll have to check my other system.

something wrong with Z1_ELECTION?? it was created specifically for Z1 election processes...

you were not included in the copy i received... only 8 were listed...
i'm also surprised that he didn't address them to the /0 addresses...
that would have been more proper since the post was related to RC
business
I have no issue with using it; however I figured that Z1C had a better chance of the links being intact. It's been a long time since Z1_ELECTION was used for its intended purpose.
So selective distribution to only 80% of the Z1 RCs. That right there shows this to be exactly what it is: political manipulation/meddling by someone who shouldn't be involved.

for the Russians in the last US Presidential election.
I will not allow him to be involved in this process, which by Policy
is the sole responsibility of the Zone 1 RCs.

We all have some time to link to it now. :)

I'm going to invoke Occam's banana -- never attribute to malice what you can attribute to oversight.

Hi Folks,
It's been a long time since we've had an election in Zone 1 for Zone 1 coordinator (quite <grin>).
Today, I'm asking the RCs in Zone 1 to organize an election in Zone 1
anyof
past or present NC, past or present RC, or past or present ZC may be nominated/elected. The date of the election will be at the discrection
the RCs though I'm hoping this can be done quickly with the least disruption to Zone 1.here
I will not be running in this election since life has become very busy
with family, etc.--- SBBSecho 3.04-Linux
Final note, thank you to all of you in Zone 1 who've helped keep Zone 1 running
:)
Thanks again,
Janis Kracht, Z1C
