• OK getting places

    OK i set up the forum for fido net mail only now when trying to enter a message
    i get a PX mailer not installed correctly
    SO i have been viewing the HELP FILES reading each line by line going thru them
    in the PXconfig
    even tho it says not installed correctly i am hopeing that means not set up correctly asi have installed it 3 times now to make sure once after some virus ware hid one WC file.. so reading all the config files help screens got thru the mailer part still no luck I am about a quarter way there i think of reading
    and setting up..will get back to you when finnished.. if anyone has any fast clues as to whaqt todo with PX let me know thanks

    Donald, I know that netmail seems to be working now (at least I've been
    getting your messages *smiles*). But, I am going to post this for the
    benefit of all here.

    If you go to enter netmail online from a connection within wildcat (ie
    via dialup or telnet) and you get this message, it means that PX does
    not have a compiled node listing to read from. You need to run
    PXNLIST.EXE to compile any nodelists in the \PXW\NODELIST directory.
    Once you do that, it should work just fine.

    Also, it's best to use PXNLIST.EXE from PX/Win 2.0 as I believe the
    later update to that particular program causes a divide by zero error
    when you go to compile a nodelist.

    yes i was getting a divide b y zero when complining the node list so the old one should work fine then ok thanks will look fort the px 2.0 thats what the problem was I was asking ben about this thanks for your help ROBERT
