    Ardith...

Uh... you mean something akin to diaper rash? We had a very similar AH>problem during the third week, in part because of the stool softener which w AH>routinely administered during treatment to keep things moving along. It was AH>difficult time for us. But I gather the alternatives could be worse... you AH>*not* want caustic chemicals eroding your child's innards, where you can't s AH>what's going on & where the damage would be a lot more difficult to fix.

While I rarely have a problem with constipation (although I did after
the first kidney stone surgery, due to having been giving
morphine...thank goodness for Miralax!!)...I've always had a problem
    with heat rash and chafing.

Lately, it has gotten worse in the groin area where my legs meet that
area on either side of the genitals, and in between the "butt cheeks",
in the "crack area". Bacteria for these yeast infections look for
warmth, moisture, and darkness, and for both sexes, you have all 3 in
    those areas.

I realize a good shower, drying of the area, and medicated powder
helps. But, at times, the sweat makes the chafing area sting like mad,
making it difficult to walk, sit, or do much else. I think that the type
of clothing one wears also makes a difference in this.
