    all google translate can tell me is "russian detected" but nothing else... the word is simply repeated as typed but with the last 'i' changed to a 'y'...

    first haerd it in Charles Laughton's "Night of the
    Hunter."

    ok... when i pasted it into google translate, it told me russian detected but gave me pretty much the same word back in english except changing the last 'i' to a 'y'...
