The orgin of Cargo is Latin word "big shipium that carries stuffium" while shipment comes from the Greek word "root" that means UPS truck. Not to be confused with the USA slang "huG-A-root" that has nothing to do with shipment VS Cargo. (:

I'd be suprised if there were any/many at all...

Its so slow, buggy, unsupported and lacking of features by today standards.

Still fun to install and look at every so often though for nostalgia!

Mostly nostalgia. Still trying to figure out from available installs to use. I
looked at RGV110F and tried it but for some reason on connecting it just disconnects. Only using renegade -t in the ini file of net2bbs. no other docs
or info if there are other params that should be included. But nonetheless I will play with it until I can at least connect via telnet.

Love my Mystic setup, by the way and it feeds my ezy and vadv board. Though I am having trouble with argus in connecting with mystic, keep getting authorization failure. didn't have this problem a4. I am on A7 but I do not know where the problem lies. logs don't tell me anything. I rechecked the password. That's another troubling issue but nothing major for now.

    See ya later.

The last time I tried to install it for kicks I found a lot problems in the first few minutes. I was getting stuck in endless loops in the configuration editor, among other lockups or issues. I just ended up deleting it.

I think there are a bunch of newer 120 full installations those may work better. I am guessing what I tried was probably the versions before the one released in 2011.

I can help if you send me current BINKP logs of whatever issue you're having, but this isn't really the place for that. I do think I remember people pointing out a misconfiguration in your network domains in the past. Were you able to address that? There hasn't been any BINKP code change in quite a while and several of the hubs running Mystic have Argus downlinks.

Anyway lets post in MYSTIC or email mysticbbs@gmail.com so we're not cluttering up the Renegade echo, if you want me to help you figure it out :)

Most likely you were using the "new" releases past Y2KA2.

I totally agree that the most trivial of problems never really got fixed properly. The focus by the developer at the time was on trying to compete with Searchlight and Mystic with light-bars everywhere. I think V110 or V120 still has serious problems. Even the versioning for awhile was overtly confusing.

It was like, V110 or V101 or whatever it was, it cannot toss Echomail reliably, but the author felt it was more important to add light-bars to the message screens rather than fix the fundimental bugs in the tosser.

The other bizarre "feature" was when he changed the structure of the main configuration, thus rendering all of the many cool 3rd-party stuff obsolete instantly.

I remember I had a few disagreements with that developer on the direction of Renegade at the time, till I just said to hell with it and stuck with Y2KA2. I have the source code and am quite capable of fixing any problems myself.
