    I noticed titanic bbs is down and just wondered whats the 411 with my first software i used?

    Renegade is open-source, but I prefer to use the older version (Y2KA2).

    My board has been running Renegade since 1993.

    I think it's really cool that you are still running Renegade. I was a RGSNet HUB back in the 90's and totally into Renegade then. Really annoyed I lost a lot of my filebase backups etc :(


    In time I may try to set up a Renegade system as well as the Mystic system I
    am currently using. Will yell for help when I do :-)

    The 411 is some people are still running it, when I get tried of one board it nice to chill out and play on a different setup. The same thing exist no matter what your using... the users are few and far between. I don't see that part ever changing.. It is what it is.. anyway Rg is great! opensource.

    I'm beginning to wonder if that is like dating more than one woman
    at a time. They all have their own particular demands :O

    LOL. My system is known in certain circles as a notoriously auto-pilot board but in a very good way - Very, very little maintenance is done, no playing with configs, no taking the server down at random, etc.
