what was your 2.5 version? shareware or pro?
Shareware. Never i can found the pro version :-(.
yeah, you should never find the pro version... it can only be purchased...
http://www.rapro.com/
back to your original question, there was a policy change at one point where the shareware release was reduced to only a few nodes instead of being the full
250... i'm guessing this was a corporate decision... it is understandable since
250 nodes is/was the maximum... if you have a valid key file for 2.5, it should
work just fine with 2.6... the only thing being the reduction in nodes...
for more than 2 nodes, purchasing RAPro is required... on the one hand, i can understand this considering the $$$ that bruce spent to acquire the RA code base... i don't know that he'll break even and can only wish the best for him... i think, though, that the decision to go 2 nodes in RA shareware was made by andrew before he left the scene and got so involved with his ISP business... as far as what bruce is doing, i can only look at and point to the above link to the RAPro web site...
