Its been dead ever since the moderator spot was taken over by Cassell, the entire venue greatly restricted by his heavy-handed rules setup, and all
open discussion completely smothered, as happens to all the echoes he takes over.

It seems to me that over moderating has contributed to the Fidonet message
base decline, among other reasons, namely the Internet and Facebook that
sends everyone's messages straight to the NSA and CIA for scrutiny.

Its been dead ever since the moderator spot was taken over by Cassell, the entire venue greatly restricted by his heavy-handed rules setup, and all open discussion completely smothered, as happens to all the echoes he takes over.

It seems to me that over moderating has contributed to the Fidonet message base decline, among other reasons, namely the Internet and Facebook that sends everyone's messages straight to the NSA and CIA for scrutiny.

I see it stated all over the Fidonet echoes that, without `users' sysops are pretty well doing a BBS for nothing. That `users' are (or WERE) what BBS'ing was about.

But...if certain `powerbrokers' are going to continue limiting `users' access to certain echoes....then `users' are not really part of Fidonet any more,
they are either just silent observers, or they finally just drop Fidonet altogether. In which case Fidonet only consists of `sysops' and `powerbrokers' with the occasional short-lived newbie thrown in.

The more limited users are to only certain echoes, the more the conversation becomes one-sided. Till all there is is one opinion...one way of thinking... `...and all nature wears one uniform, silly grin..'

Reagan did very few things I disagreed with. He *never* should have given `amnesty' to all those illegal aliens. When they speak of a `path to citizenship'...to

I feel for refugees the same as anyone else. BUT!!! The place for `refugee' camps is over there in the part of the world where they belong...not here
or all over Europe. They don't belong here. They need to go back home and
take their violence and child-rape with them. Western Europeans are starting
to make protests. I look for it to turn violent there soon. I've been to Germany. It won't be long before some filthy camel-herder rapes or feels up
the wrong young school girl on a bus or train, and a violent reaction comes from an enraged German father.

When the German police arrived and learned what it was all about...the Islamic scum got the crap kicked out of them some more! And after they get out of the hospital they're getting deported back to where they came from!

I knew they'd screw around with the wrong Germans soon enough and get a bad reaction!
