Republicans wouldn't stoop to rejoicing over it.

Steve Forbes is rejoicing over it.

I know Steve. I spent time and had dinner with him earlier this
year. He would never rejoice at someone's death. He is one of
the most compassionate people I know. I am quite sue he was
taken out of context or similar.

Read the tweet. He was not out of context.

It was out of context. Forbes was speaking of the good news that the financial bill now in the Senate may fail and said that it was because of Byrd's death and Scott Brown having second thoughts on it.

Otto's source is the website "thinkprogress" who claimed Forbes' "Good News" claim was that Byrd died.

Whatever you wish to believe. You base all of your versions of the
truth on the source. That will never change.

You can never trust Otto's sources for truthfulness. That and the fact he rarely reads more than a couple words in any of the articles he cites. Look at his silly claim that Harry Byrd Sr. was Robert Byrd's father and then, when it was shown that Robert Byrd's father was a farmer, he dropped back and punted with the wild claim that he meant Harry Byrd Sr. was Robert Byrd's uncle when the wikipedia article he linked to said explicitly that the two were not related.

He has now gone completely silent on the matter.
