Stockman, who was Reagan's chief of the Office of Management and
Budget, wrote a book called, IIRC, The Triumph of Politics. In
his book he wrote that he came to Reagan with the proposed
spending cuts, and Reagan rejected them all. He said when that
happened he knew the Reagan Revolution was a failure.
He hasn't read the book. Especially pages 89 to 91, where Stockman says
the opposite. Or maybe he has read it, and just hoped to get away with misrepresenting.
