Parroting your gurus again, I see...

Yet how do they actually know about *REAL* socialists, as opposed to
their hysterical bogeyman in the closet?

Tell us what a real socialist is.

In Milwaukee, in 1910 socialists won most of the elections in that
    city's government.

Wisconsin, the birth place of "progressivism. Coincidence? Not!

They became known as "sewer socialists," not because of any of their policies being from the sewer, rather they made it a priority to rebuild and update the city's antiquated sewer system.
They also made it a priority to close down Milwaukee's then "red-light district," something the previous corrupt mayor allowed to operate.

You did some reading, but you seem not to understand what you read.

All this was done by working with the business community of Milwaukee.

And in Ohio, the Socialist party on Tuesday got 25,000 votes.

    So what?

Pure socialism in governments simply fails, every time.

Then, why do they keep trying?

And labeling needed reforms that end predatory banking, corrupt food manufacturing and having dangerous workplaces is not "socialism."

    Who said it was?

In the late 1940's and early 1950's, anyone who opposed the status quo, which included vicious racism, was labeled a "communist."

    That's a lie.

Demagogues like Beck, Limbaugh, etc, never have given up the M. O.
They just adapted it, a little.

Another lie. Quit listening to that Maddow guy.

    <snip>

You don't know what you are talking about.

    Ed
