• Glenn Beck is a moron.

From Ross Sauer@1:123/789 to All on Tue Oct 5 00:36:20 2010
But, what can you expect from a blithering idiot, who fried his brain with cocaine and booze?

The only people even worse are those who still listen to and/or watch faithfully this blithering idiot's radio and/or TV show.

Glenn Beck continues to give his loyal listeners American history lessons,
and the education they receive from "Beck University" grows more extreme
each day. On Friday Beck went on a long rant "explaining" how health care reform is supposedly enslaving the American public. Then, in an attempt to explain the concept, Beck compares health care reform to the American
system of slavery. According to Beck, slavery was not really evil and bad
until the government stepped in to regulate it. It was at that point that owning people as property and all the other injustices of slavery became something to abhor.

In the audio clip (available by clicking on the video to the left), Beck
says that slavery "started with seemingly innocent ideas." Beck goes as far
as to say that the evil of slavery did not start with the Atlantic slave
trade, but instead it "started in a court room, and then it went to the legislatures." Beck then warns his audience that health care reform might
be "creating slaves" just like slaves were supposedly created in the past.

I have stated for a number of years that socialism is a form of slavery.
It becomes very easy to see if you remove money from the equation. I
could care less what Glenn Beck says. I don't listen to him but he
obviously ties you in knots. If you don't believe socialism is a form
of slavery then I'd like to hear your reasoning.

You shouldn't talk about `slavery' either. You yourself have been a slave to the federal government for many years, now. Without them, you'd be dead by
now. The government is your master.

Not being a fan of Glenn Beck, I can't help being surprised that the rally he had recently drew so many people.

In fact, I've seen message traffic that says this recent leftist rally... `One Nation' or whatever they called it, the left wing media played footage of *Beck's* rally in order to make the leftist's `One Nation' thingy look much larger than it really was.

Not only that.......they couldn't trust what their speakers might say on
camera if left to wing it on their own, so they used the world's biggest *teleprompter* to coach each speaker along!

The democrats are getting real desperate when they have to resort to Harry Belafonte (of all people) to try to drum up support for democrats!

This election is gonna be a toughie for democrats.

The part I liked was their use of the world's biggest teleprompter! They had
to be bussed in, and even then couldn't fill the place up enough to come close to the numbers who attended Beck's get-together. Some of the signs they were holding up had to be either kept off-camera or edited out afterward.

And then, in order to keep a lid on the hatred and bile flying all over their little group, they resorted to a huge teleprompter to coach their speakers through the talk that made it onto the networks.

Most democrat candidates are avoiding Hussein like the plague.....finding things to do on the opposite side of the state when he arrives to campaign!

Something tells me this is going to be a real ineresting election.

Something tells me this is going to be a real ineresting election.

Apparently Good Morning America did a report on the commie confab Monday morning and avoided all the CPUSA, "capitalism sucks" and "socialism is an alternative" signs like the plague. They also failed to show how the sparse crowd literally trashed the Mall area including the WWII Memorial and Lincoln Memorial. There was even trash in the reflecting pool. ABC didn't show any of that, though.

It gets better; they were bragging about how `diverse' their rally was. The only real diversity about the whole thing was the `diverse' number of *unions* that were represented there!

On another subject....people like Klahn and Otto whine about nobody being in any danger from Islam, and we're all wet.......

A politician in Holland named Geert Wilders is on trial for pointing out the danger of Islam.

This also gets better.......outside on the streets are Islamists demonstrating for his conviction for `hate speech'.

But the real story is some of the signs the demonstraters are holding up. Here's some examples:

    "SLAY Those Who Insult Islam!"

    "BEHEAD Those Who Insult Islam!"

    "BUTCHER THOSE Who Mock Islam!"

"EUROPE You Will Pay...Your Extermination is On Its Way!"

"EUROPE You Will Pay...Your Demolition is On Its Way!"

Can you imagine the loud and almost endless outrage were these signs using the word `Christianity' in place of `Islam'?

Where is the outrage, here? Where is all the rhetoric about the islamic religion being mundane, outdated........?

Where are all these people who insult Christians and Christianity, with vile, detestable accusations now?

Where is Otto and whiney Wayne with all their `religion is fairy tales' horseshit?

And by the way...........none of those signs identify any of the bloodthirsty Islamic fanatics waving them as `wahabi' or any other distinct form or brand
of islamist. They are calling for the slaying of anyone who dares to mock islam.
