    | ML>not watching cartoons is a requirement to be an adult?
    |
    |
    | Adulthood usually entails putting away childish things, and acting one's age. |
    |
    | A person who is in their 50's should by then have more mature ways of
    | entertainment. Watching cartoons is sort of kids stuff.

Sit down and watch an unedited Looney Tune or Merrie Melodie sometime.
As a child, I found them entertaining, but as an adult I have realized that there is no way on earth those were written to entertain kids.

    Mike

    They were aimed at adults.

The MGM cartoons of the 40's and early 50's were almost entirely humor
aimed at adults, and could be somewhat ribald.

Many cartoons today get aimed at adults too.

One of the episodes of "The Powerpuff Girls" called "Meet The Beat-Alls" is
one big inside joke aimed at the Beatles, John and Yoko.

If you were to take a poll of what the average adult male seeks out for entertainment, it would not be cartoons.

    You never left childhood.

Look up "Adult Swim" and "Metalopolypse," and get back to me.

    Also look up "Family Guy."
    "The Simpsons"
    "King Of The Hill"

Get off your high horse and start enjoying things for a change.

You havent left childhood, and the examples you provide are not the ones that have consumed your interests, up to and including the dis-assembly of childrens
    dolls.

You see Sauer, the difference between you and the average adult male, is that the average adult male has a job, and holds one for a majority of their life, whereas you cannot make no claim.

I bet you get up on Saturday mornings with glee.

Do take the poll and let us know how it comes out. Don't forget
to include South Park, and The Simpsons and the other similary
    cartoons.

I used to watch Rocky and Bullwinkle, they were very good.

    You never left childhood.

Neither did you, the dark side of it.
