My personal preference is to convene a Constitutional convention and dissolve the United States. Most if not all of the states have economies larger than most other recognized nations.

IMO the US is a failed experiment and has been for half a century.

Individual states and groups of states would, of ocurse, be perfectly free to merge or form alliances.

Uuuuuhhhhh, didn't they try that back in 1861? I'm pretty sure it was in all the media of the time.

No. The Constitution was left intact at the time, and the attempted dissolution was resisted by some of the states, leading to the War of
Northern Aggression. Or was it the War for Southern Independence?

    I should know the others .... <sigh>

Lemme go look at your list. Maybe I can he'p.

    Cheyenne, WY
    Carson City, NV

Actually, since it's been over half a century since I was in school I'm pleased that I got about 80% of them.

Been that long for me since high school. But, I go to school every day as I consider that any day I don't learn something new is a wasted day. Bv)=

I think the Carson City, NV cite is about the most missed state capital. Most people think that Reno is the capitol city ... those who don't think it's Las Vegas. Bv)=

    ENJOY!!!
