"For it is a truth, which the experience of all ages has attested,
that the people are commonly most in danger when the means of
    injuring
their rights are in the possession of those [toward] whom they
entertain the least suspicion." --Alexander Hamilton

Yes. If Leo Strauss were only understood, rights injured would have
    been
easily recognized. If it weren't for the easily perceived
    ineptitude, the
U.S could have become permanently ruled by Neo-cons. :-|

Watch out, John, there are some neocons under your bed.

Your ability to mis apprehend is interesting as is your appraisal of
    yourself in this echo.

You often give no indication of comprehension in your desire to get off a
quick deprecating shot. Not that it matters, I dont look to you for
    content.

One can recover from wounds inflicted but scars remain. The U.S. has
    been
scarred and the really far right do not recognize this, but will in
    about
thirty years, about the time it takes for political truth be
    known.:-)

Good grief. In the mean time, you will ignore the damage the
    "progressives" are
    doing to the country.

    Oh, yeah....sure, certainly, right-o.

That is, of course, assuming the United States will continue to
    exist for
longer than thirty years...if it does not it will be due to abject ignorance, the which currently abounds, and is no stranger to these
    areas.

You could be correct since we are currently saddled with an ever
    increasing
debt that the Democrats seem to think will just go away by spending even
    more.

Unfortunately the entire planet evidently has not lived within its means.
The Republicans have no better track record. Intelligent solutions are few
and far between. A complaint is not a cure.

Is this a fond farewell? No. Little fondness in being lied about,
    but an
    interesting experience.

Open another bottle and go to sleep.

Oh. boy, that is a good one, yes sir.

And here comes the personal insults.

You often give no indication of comprehension in your desire to get off a quick deprecating shot. Not that it matters, I dont look to you for content.

Then, explain why you chose to reply to me in the first place. Oh yes, to get off a quick deprecating shot at me.

Government spending appears to be okay to you as long as it's the right party in control.

I never claimed the Repubs are any better. They lost in 2006 and 2008 because they were no better.

Here's an intelligent solution for you... cut spending across the board and live within our means. $13trillion in debt and $1 trillion deficits as far as the eye can see is unsustainable. Here's where you claim it's all the Republicans' fault and mumble incoherently about how great Obama and the Democrats are at fiscal responsibility.

It's no worse than your feeble attempts at insulting me.
