    Hello Ross!

With the talk coming from the left about taxes and the rich, having to pay their so called fair share..

    A. What constitutes being rich?

    B. What is "fair share"?

    Hello Ross!

With the talk coming from the left about taxes and the rich, having to
pay their so called fair share..

    A. What constitutes being rich?

    B. What is "fair share"?

Both are quite subjective questions, with no real answer.

Personal bias colors each person's answer also.

    My Aunt I consider rich.

    (Her husband died.)
But he left her a lot of money, she still lives in a nice fairly large
house, (not a mansion,) complete with below-ground pool.

I consider her to be rich.
Her husband made his money buying and selling stocks.

One of my other relatives got made his money owning a crane business and building golf courses.

I consider these relatives to be rich.

Not rich like Bill Gates, but still rich.

    What is a "fair share?"
If I knew this I'd be an expert economist.
Do I look like an expert economist?

    B. What is "fair share"?

The second most certainly has an `answer'

You don't really have any concept of what people pay in taxes, you aren't a participant in the income tax.

The top ten or twenty percent of the taxpayers in this country pay the vast majority of the income taxes.

If a person makes xxx amount of dollars in income in a tax year, and pay the taxes the IRS rules say they owe after deductions, where do you or the lefty democrats get off saying they didn't pay their fair share?

Personal bias colors each person's answer also.

    My Aunt I consider rich.

If the person pays the percentage on what the IRS says is `income', that the IRS says is what they owe......where do you or the lefty democrats have anything to complain about as to what they paid?

One of the biggest problems this country has is the burden of taxes laid on
it. That, along with the outrageous demands from unions for more and more benefits, have driven people either to foreign countries to produce, or out of business altogether.

The democrats are slowly changing the American Dream from succeeding and becoming wealthy.....to the more you succeed, the less you'll keep.

Actually most Lefto whacko's think they have the answer..

If you worked and were one of these people, how would you feel if the govt confiscated 50% of what you made?

The economy will come "roaring back" if the richest get fat tax breaks?
That worked SOOOOOO well before, right? (sarcasm off)

Some stock brokers have, for all the brokers we read about who are
