Today on Fox news, Arizona governor Jan Brewer made the claim
that Arizona RS> was under "terrorist attacks."

Today a Pinal County deputy was shot in the abdomen by an AK-47
wielding illegal who most likely was also trafficking in drugs. He was
able to radio for help and, after a long search, he was rescued and is
    recovering in a hospital.

    I know.

Do you not think that terrorizes the citizens of Arizona?

Not long ago a rancher who often helped the illegals as they came
across his property was killed for no apparent reason.

    I know that too.

Again, do you not think that terrorizes Arizona citizens?

For those who live in Arizona it is indeed a terrorist attack.

Only in the fevered minds of those who panic when they hear about *CRIMINAL* acts, that is, acts by those committing crimes, not
    terroristic actions.

I read a story of a woman who lives alone with her children on a moderately large farm in south AZ. There is a camp of illegal aliens and drug mules living
on the edge of her land. She lives in terror 24/7.

You *DO* know the difference, right?

When the victims are terrified, there is no difference for them. Arizona is under siege because the border along its southern border is virtually open for anyone to cross without recourse.

If the perpetrators of these criminal acts are caught, will they be charged with terrorism?
    Easy answer: No.

Many of them should be since they practice terrorism so they can continue their
trade, smuggling people and drugs across the border into the US.

They will be charged for the criminal actions they commit.

Who are you to say terrorism won't be among those charges?

Governor Jan Brewer is now up to her ass in trouble, nationwide, since
she caved in to the reactionary and racist right-wingers, like Russell Pearce, the state congressman who introduced and pushed this
    legislation.

There is NOTHING racist about wanting illegal aliens out of the country. In fact, Hispanic ISN'T EVEN A RACE! You idiot left-wingers are the reactionaries with your instant call of racism without even reading the law Governor Brewer signed!

51% of the citizens of the US support the bill and probably more after the truth is told about it. It isn't a new law, but a reaffirmation of federal law.
It doesn't give the LEOs to stop anyone if all they suspect is that they are here illegally. The person has to have run afoul of some other law first and then the LEO has to see something that makes him/her suspect the person is an illegal. If the person has an Arizona license, green card, or other acceptable ID end of discussion.

Goevernor Rick Perry of Texas, and you just *KNOW* how liberal he is, disaproves of this law. So does Mike Huckabee, Karl Rove, etc.

So what? Everyone is allowed their opinion.

You see, they see this law as political poison, which it is.
It is nothing but racial profiling, all denials to the contrary.

Total and utter nonsense. In fact, the language of the law does not allow racial profiling. There is actual language that says the LEO cannot practice racial profiling.

Don't forget though, Arizona was the same racist state that fought the hardest against a Martin Luther King Jr holiday.
They lost their ass back then, too.

You are an idiot. Arizona is no more racist than Wisconsin.

And Rush Limbaugh has put the blame for the oil mess in the Gulf
squarely RS> where it belongs. (sarcasm off)

According to Limbaugh, it was "Envirowhackos" who caused the
    oil-rig RS> explosion. :eyeroll:

I thought you didn't listen to that windbag.

    I don't.

Then, why do you care what he says?

    Ed
