• PCB in a dosbox and telnet access

    Is anyone running PCBoard in a DOS box and some kind of a fossil for have telnet access to your BBS? What comm program are you using?

    x00 and bnu is what I used back in the day and I think either of those would work for you if you need a fossil.

    I run PCBoard on a windows 10 machine using Net2bbs to make the telnet connection and passing that connection to PCBoard. You can see for yourself at pbmystic.rdfig.net:1023

    Netfoss is used as the fossil.

    I am looking forward to setting this up myself. I run a Mystic for all of my networks under Linux, plus a BBS I coded myself in C back in the 90s (which
    is still running, but I am moving it to a dedicated server now so it's offline).

    I plan on adding RA, PCB and PROBOARD BBSes...

    Feel free to netmail me if you want a buddy to set PCBoard up on
    dosbox/telnet with.
