For some reason, the "Nodelist" and "Recent Callers" features are not working.

Thanks a million. I made a special trip over to the library in Red
Oak Friday and ratholed a bunch of material off that site onto a
CD. I'll probably spend some more time gathering the rest of it.
After I did all that I looked more closely at the label on the
inside of the machine's case. The password reset switch is clearly located and labeled on the diagram <sigh>.
The box is up and running. It has DR-DOS version 7 (aka Novell
DOS) and Windows 3.1 on it. I thought it had Warp 3 on it, oh
well.
The system clock isn't working though, and while I can set it the
thing doesn't stay set. I'm going to swap out the battery on the
mobo and see if that helps.

Not really an OS/2 problem, an IBM hardware problem. IIRC OS/2 is loaded on
the HD, but I can't get that far.
I have lost/forgotten the power on password for an IBM PC-350, type 6586
37F, which is a P75 box. Or perhaps the password has become corrupted, the machine had not been powered up for several (5 or more) years. I did haveto replace
all of the RAM sticks to get it to power up without screaming (three verylong beeps,
nothing else, no display, no nothing); now it does the POST and then asksfor the password
- which I don't have, the machine doesn't accept or recognize what it'ssupposed to be if
present.depending on model,
On the PS/2 (I have several) there's a jumper that, if set or changed
wipes or clears the power on password. There's a similar arrangement onearly model
Thinkpads, of which I have several. I can't find any such jumper on thisbox's motherboard
- it may be there, it just isn't intuitively obvious - which isunderstandable.
Does anyone know how to bypass/reset/defeat the power on password on thismachine?
I'm pretty sure IBM hasn't included such a feature on any of its recenthardware offerings
for security reasons, but this machine dates from about 1996 and maystill have it.
