sure... you might miss some locked files but the majority will be

OK then, but you have to first find out what files are locked.

Yeah sure, as long as the backup works and is accesible.
I had a complete mirror backup on a Win10pro machine that wasn't
accesible when needed. After making the backup Windows even did a
check and told the user that the b-u was successful.
