    While I want them to win it all, I still don't think they will. I will be pleasantly surprised if they win it all. Barring a total failure (like the Giants since the All Star break), I think they will win the NL West, but it will be difficult for anyone to get past the Cubs. As I type this, their "magic number" is one.

    Were you able to catch the ceremony honoring Vin Scully? Sad to see him retire, but he deserves retirement.
    I think he was having fun, but health issues and family come first.
    Hopefully he could at least say its time for dodger baseball during the
    first NLCS game if they make it to round 2. and maybe attend the world
    series parade if they pull a miracle.

    A miracle, indeed. 1988 was so long ago. I will try to at least listen to
    his last Dodger game tomorrow (Sunday 10/2/16) as he will do the entire
    game in sumulcast as well as the Giants' broadcast during the 4th inning.

    I wish the Dodgers didnt spend so much money on bloated contracts.

    I am loving it. They are now (July 16, 2017) 64-29, 9 wins in a row, 10.5 games up and now have 11 series sweeps so far this season. Now a day off
    and then two in Chicago against the White Sox.

    And to top it off, Cody Bellinger hit for the cycle on Saturday night
    against Miami, the first Dodger rookie to do so, the third Los Angeles
    Dodger, and tenth overall, and the first since April 13, 2009 when Orlando Hudson hit for the cycle against San Diego. Before that, 1970.
