Maybe not signing Grienkie was a good idea for the Dodgers. Even if the team went to the world series, it would of been very cost prohibitive.

How so? What do you think of their recent signings? (I can't remember
most of them.) For example, the Japanese pitcher, Maeda for eight years,
    I believe.

Personally, I'm feeling pretty strong about the Kazmir and Maeda addition to our pitching roster.. I agree, we don't need Greinke. We just need solid performance out of Kershaw (and hopefully Ryu and Mccarthy are back at their peak this season)... Oh, and maybe now we have a manager that actually knows how to manage a world series team!

Not to go off on a tangent, but our chance was two years ago against St.
Louis - when Mattingly really dropped the ball... (no pun intended). Last
year, our bullpen was just plain out terrible. Hoping for a promising 2016 season.

I always get a bit nervous during the winter. I remember watching game 1 of the 1988 series against the A's with my late grandfather. I lived in Grover City (now Grover Beach) near Pismo Beach then and was visiting my
grandparents in Tulare, a mere 9 miles from where I am now in Visalia.

I would like to see them win a few more championships and it burns me that
the Giants have done it three times in five years. However, my grandfather would be very happy - he was a Giant's fan.

Agreed. I couldn't even watch the end of the series. I know it was over..

Hoping for a promising 2016 season.

    Same here.

Ah yes, fond memories of Kirk Gibson's walk-off homerun! I still recall
huddled around a 7" B/W television with rabbit ears whilst camping in cub scouts somewhere in the San Gabriel mountains.

Yeah, what can I say about SF... other than I hate them! Much respect to
Bruce Bouchy and what he has done for that team... They are resilient like cockroaches though, kind of like St. Louis. Glad KC was able to get it this year. SF has been an every other year team, interesting to see what happens this year...although I don't think they have much of a team anymore.
