expense you pay for is dodgers on teleivision from the added costs on
the cable tv bill.
I used to be able to watch them on Prime Ticket (A FOX network) as I am basically in their viewing area. Since they made the deal with Time Warner Cable and started a new channel, SportsnetLA, it is no longer possible. TWC has
yet to come to terms with most of the pay-TV entities (DirecTV, DISH, Uverse, Comcast, etc.) and it doesn't look promising any time soon.
The cable company servicing Porterville (Southern Tulare County) is the closest
that carries the games. Comcast serves Visalia, in which I live. I suspect that
the rates for these will go up if/when SportsnetLA is added, or it will be part
of an "upgrade" package.
I also get Fox Sports West (FSW) which carries the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. It is a bonus when the Dodgers play the Angels. Because of where I get
my Internet, I am considered to be outside of the local viewing area and have been watching the games using MLB.TV and Google's Chromecast. However, games between the Giants and A's are blacked out. I hope TWC and DirecTV ends their stalemate or I may just have to root for the Angels.
