MBSE currently does not parse an IPv6 address in the Fidonet nodes ->
Session setup -> Inet hostname field correctly. Everything after the
first colon is treated as a port number. I am working on a fix. Until
then, you can avoid the problem by specifying the remote by either
hostname or IPv4 address.
Ok then. I do then not need using IPv6 self if my netcards now showing ip address of it on my netcards.
I have just got another problem after I installed the new version 1.0.4 it have
not make the mbsebbs file for ports in /xinet.d/ and self if I have on gentoo run emerge xinetd and all the needed programs and too the mbsebbs used netkit-telnet.
Then is the old problem by escape char og sign by telnet login to mbsebbs as user not work well by each time it been tried out for first user login is it like telnet connect to mbsebs ending before mbse got the connect.
I got a mbbsbbs port file in to /xinet.d/ by ftp to another mbse pc there is working with telnet login and copied the file to the new install of mbsebbs and
then match telnet files and mbsebbs for telnet.
so the first installed telnet is disable and on in the mbsebbs port file restarted /etc/init.d/xinetd and checked all out for what there could be started up.
But I just come in mind that there is another setting for gentoo to be setup or
changed to work for login by telnet to mbsebbs ca just not remember where it is.
Take care,
Gert
