Hello Niels!
26 Mar 25 08:30, you wrote to all:
I've just compiled and installed the current 1.1.0 codebase I pulled
off sourceforge.net and it working well so far. However, I noticed
that there is now a reworked support for ASCII files and the option to
set color / no color for the user terminal. However, it'd be nice if
that color setting could also be toggled via the "User Setup" option
where you can also select the editor, character encoding etc.
That command was removed by Michiel when he fully removed the ASCII support from MBSE. Andrew has since added that back to the example menus.
Oh, and there's something messy with the html documentation, I had to
copy the *.html.in files from the 1.0.9 release to get configure to
pass.
That is my fault. I fat-fingered it and Andrew is currently fixing that. I've made sure that will not happen again.
If you look at the documentation, I did a lot of work by updating how to install DOSemu and DOS doors as well as adding a chapter about setting up Linux "doors"/programs using the /U command Andrew added.
I need to update the "how to set up a web server" and "how to set up a FTP server" documentation as it is seriously out of date.
Sadly, my chronic health issues like to keep me busy and in and out of the hospital.
I'm doing better so I'll be working on updating the documentation more. Eventually, I want to create a searchable PDF form of the documentation using LaTeX and possiby other formats also.
Not complaining, pelase don't get me wrong, just pointing out a few
things I noticed along the way.
Not taken as complaints. I'm glad you noticed those issues and let us know!
