• POLICE OFFICERS SHOT...

From Jeff Binkley@1:226/600 to Ed Hulett on Sat Dec 5 18:12:00 2009

If it wasn't Clemmons, same sentence for the shooter.

I just learned after posting the above, who is the asshole
who gave Clemmons clemency in Arkansas, despite Clemmons'
    violent history.

No, not Stan's favorite whipping boy.

Ex-governor of Arkansas, and Fox News TV host Mike Huckabee.

You didn't comment on this part of the article:

    So?

So, it shows your intellectual dishonesty.

    ====================================================

Clemmons' criminal history includes at least five felony
    convictions RS> in
Arkansas and at least eight felony charges in Washington. The
record also stands out for the number of times he has been
released from custody despite questions about the danger he
    posed.

That's eight felony convictions that never should have
    happened.

Huckabee, who ran for the Republican presidential nomination
    last RS> year,
issued a statement tonight calling the slaying of the police
    officers RS> "a
    horrible and tragic event."

    Pretty standard.

    Huh? What an idiot.

If Clemmons is found responsible, "it will be the result of a
    series RS> of
failures in the criminal justice system in both Arkansas and
    Washington
    State," Huckabee said.

    Major CYA, AGAIN, from Huckabee.

Why? All Huckabee did was go with the recommendations of the
    Arkansas parole board.

Huckabee did the same thing when a guy he fought to get
released after a rape conviction raped and murdered a woman.

At the recommendation of the parole board. A governor doesn't
make such decisions on their own.

He added that Clemmons' release from prison had been reviewed
and approved by the Arkansas parole board.

    Classic pass the buck.

    Are you really that stupid?

The Arkansas governor has a great deal of influence on those
    boards.

Really? What exactly did Huckabeee do to influence the parole
board? How would he even have any idea who was in prison and
    why?

Would you accept this excuse, had Bill Clinton been governor
    at that time?
    Hell no.

You don't get to dictate what other people accept.

Yet The Clinton made his pardons in the middle of the night and
based upon who gave him the most money. I doubt that Otto
looked at any of the people and their crimes that The Clinton
    pardoned.

I'm still waiting for the moron in Sheboygan to tell us what Huckabee
did to influence the parole board to release Clemmons.

And Washington does have a death penalty and Clemmons will either get
it, or better yet, die in a gun battle when they find him.

He was wounded badly during his murder spree and hopefully he'll
    bleed to death.

That would save the community quite a bit of money.

    Of course they do.

It's moot about the Death Penalty seeing as how the shooter was shot
and killed today (or yesterday evening).

RE: bleeding hearts; my heart is bleeding for the combined number of MG>children who 2 days ago had 2 parents. Today 9 children only have
    one.

Indeed. Sorry for taking so long to respond. I was in your neck (San

Normal people don't think like that; then again, normal people don't SH>celebrate the death of a woman who died on 911.

It's the same crowd which used Columbine to further their political
    agenda. Soulless, gutless sheep.

Otto is always whining about the DP not being a deterrent to keep
killing people from others, but I'll double damn guaranty you that it MG>killing deters Ted Bundy from anymore girls!

He was wounded badly during his murder spree and hopefully he'll
    bleed to death.

by now I know you know that he IS dead, he won;t be killing any more MG>cops. He won't be making any more children's parents.

But that is not a deterrent.

As always Mimi simply makes up things about me.
The death penalty is *NOT* a deterrent to a few people because
    they want to
die, then they become "martyrs for the cause."
The Muslim radicals convicted in the 1993 WTC bombing, and that
blind sheikh and his goons, were like that.
Now, they sit in a teeny jail cell, forgotten.
Their dreams of martyrdom at the hands of the "Great Satan"
    dashed to pieces.

Tim McVeigh was like that also.
    And the state obliged him.
And now, he's a "hero" and "martyr" to the groups who fight
against the "Zionist Occupational Government." (The Jews, doncha know...)

That is absolute hogwash. If they want to be martyrs so be it.

Indeed. They are still dead and aren't around to do any more bad deeds.

Ar-Kay is all for treating the murderers with kid gloves and then celebrating the death of their victims.
