• WONDERING WHAT HAPPENED T

From Jeff Binkley@1:226/600 to Ross Cassell on Fri Apr 30 05:40:00 2010

Boredom, after the new moderator there (it had been abandoned
and he took it over), instituted a bunch of new rules and then
threw Ceppa out of it for violating them.

Years ago, Quarrella made Cassell and Seaborn his co-moderators.
Of the three of them, Ross was the only one actually there in
recent years, so he has been the de facto moderator since
October 2003. It briefly came back to life last year, when Ross
lifted old bans and created some new rules, but then dropped out
    of sight again.

But the desire of some, was when I tried to revive it, was to take it RC>back to its immature debate, which was the format it already had when
it sat empty. As noted Ceppa had problems coping with change, while RC>others saw the echo as an opportunity to carry out grudges against RC>Ceppa..

Ceppa had behavioral problems and struggled with the English language.

Ceppa and Otto were Holy Smoke's pet retards because both of then were
willing to say things people with grace and manners would never say. Both
are also mindless camp followers. Of course, Otto screwed the pooch with
his Barbara Olson post, and Ceppa seems to have dropped off the face of the earth.

And Danny Boy was part and parcel.

I look back fondly at you failing to prove a negative. ;)

BTW, everybody reading this, how many fugs do you think actually use FIDOnet anymore? Maybe 100?

Ross C. perhaps could probably calculate traffic trends and come to a better guess.
