• GOOD WEEK

It's been a good week in politics:

    1. CNN reports that its ratings have fallen through the floor,
with the insipid Larry King losing more than 50 percent of his
the viewers over past year. MSNBC has suffered similar ratings
hemorrhages. Meanwhile, over at Fox News, Glenn Beck owns his
time slot as does Bill O'Reilly, who dominates the terminally
weird Keith Olbermann. Word around the campfire is that MSNBC
is trying to figure out how to get rid of Olbermann. Do you
    blame them?

Father Coughlin and Morton Downey Jr owned their time slots too.

    They did? Cite please.

"Word around the campfire," "some say," "I heard it from a
    friend of a friend..."

Explain why Olbermann has an ever dwindling audience.

    As does all leftwing media.

And I find it hard to believe that a 30 story building in Ohio
wouldn't be under camera eyes, 24-7.

"There's certainly room for political disagreement, but carrying
it TR> to RS>that extent is highly inappropriate," Faux said.

There's even more room for thinking this is another put-up job.

Your tinfoil hat is screwed on too tight.

    Anger, venom and bile:

"I know how the 'tea party' people feel, the anger, venom
and bile that many of them showed during the recent House vote on TR>health-care reform. I know because I want to spit on them, take one
of their 'Obama Plan White Slavery' signs and knock every racist and TR>homophobic tooth out of their Cro-Magnon heads." --Washington Post TR>columnist Courtland Milloy

And you should read the spin on that at Huff Po and Media Matters. It's hilarious.

    4. More locally, over in the shithole Bull Connor Klan moderates, Otto AR-KAY Sauer, PhD is hosting a series of lectures on politics and **REAL SCIENCE****. Otto attempts to define "right wingers" with the example of Vince Foster, a name I haven't heard in ten years or so. To illuminate his ***REAL SCIENCE*** theory of global warming, Otto, PhD bring to the fore the theory of gravity. Real scientists everywhere are taking notes, and when Otto, PhD gets to his theory on the slowing speed of light, the Nobel committee will perk up. Fido should count its lucky stars to have such talent aboard.

As soon as he decides he has no idea that gravity is a constant, the conversation will quickly end. I doubt any of the DUmpsters will be able to educate him on the concept. Every first year college Physics class teaches this. It is one of the basic universal constants of modern day Physics.
