    Hello Again Ross.,

Quoting Ross Sauer to Peter Coggon <=-

    I was born in 59.

Ok on 59 as I was born 48 and only exposed to USA and TV in near
59, but then it was hockey and I was well on my way to skating etc
and the TV time had to be shared with my family...so I saw GM ads
    etc.

I remember reading about a 59 Caddy that killed someone standing
still, a kid ran into that huge fin and it killed him.

I believe you. Funny to read but they even had spearlike emblems
so why not a fin too.

When I was a kid I had a Schwinn, that bike was a tank.
Could take a WI winter no sweat.

When I saw you write about the Schwinn, it brought memorys of my
time learning to ride 2 wheelers, and yeah..it was a Schwinn a real
    tank but what a bike.

Thanks for the memorys Ross. It takes the pain away from the
time I have spent in hospitals in the last few days. Sorry for
    the slow replys.

    Peter

    That's ok.
As we get older, our bodies do tend to break down more often. <G>

I loved the Schwinn I had, it was blue and white, and had coaster brakes.
Those were great for skidding out on gravel roads and for leaving black
    marks on pavement. <G>

Nowadays I have a Trek Mountain Track bike that's almost as solid.
