It's currently only in the SourceForge CVS repository; I will get it
in the Git repository shortly.

Assuming no bugs are uncovered in testing, it should be in the next few weeks.

I have had a "look" at 3.4.6, not tested it jet. What I gathered from
the docomentation and the source code, is that a BOM from submitted
fts5 lines will be removed, but the copyright, prolog and epilog are untouched. Shouldn't the BOM be removed from these files as well?
I will run a nodelist production on a test system tonight.

Good point. I'll have to add scanning for BOMs in those files as well.

Let me know how it goes.
If everything remains well on the test system, I will use 3.4.6 for3.4.6 runs here live since last week. No problems, also bom is active.

There were no problems there. The REMoveBOM flag was enabled, but ofcourse there were no BOM's in the input files. I will leave the
creation of files with BOM markers to Michiel.
He uses a MS-editor, that adds such usefull information.

Indeed, good point, never thought of testing the prolog/epilog..
Not really. The editor I normally use does not add boms. I had to
revert to some trickery to add boms for testing.
Indeed, good point, never thought of testing the prolog/epilog..
As these files are usually static/rarely updated, I will probably go
ahead with the 3.4.6 release, and put the removal of BOMs from
Copyright/ProLog/EpiLog on the list for 3.4.7.
It was very helpful having those files to make sure that my code
actually worked as intended.

December is coming. Nodelist clercks have a habit of inserting seasons greetings in the nodelist epilog...

So to help you a bit more, I have dropped z2prol.txt in your inbound.
It is a good example of how the prolog of the Z2 UTF-8 nodelist may
look in December. There is a BOM in it.
