Re: PC Monitor to Mac G3

I was just given a Mac G3 with a standard PC monitor. The lady said she couldn't find the adapter to hook the monitor to the computer.
Where can I find such an adapter. I've Googled my brains out, but evident not using the right syntax.
If it's a beige G3 then its video output would be via a DA-15 output, that's a D-subminiature connector with two rows of pins for a total of 15 pins. VGA uses a DE-15 connector, 15 pins spread across three rows.
This is a very common adapter so you shouldn't have any trouble finding one. I believe that the following is an example of the adapter you're looking for:

There are other varieties of this adapter available. Older ones tended to have a bunch of DIP switches on them and came with instructions on how to configure them for your monitor's resolution and refresh, but IIRC later multisync monitors eliminated the need for this type of configuration.
