The SBBS developers have extended QWK largely. I haven't used QWK as a user for
eons so I'm not really up on the QWK user experience but for QWK networking SBBS nodes don't need to use QWKE for longer user names and subject lines. SBBS QWK nodes can also transfer netmail and files
between nodes. It's really impressive how that works.

I was not aware that sbbs supports this.
