• Inability to enter session password.

From Marc Lewis@1:218/700 to All on Sun Apr 27 19:50:02 2014
    Hello All!

Helping set up Sam Penwright's Irex. Seems that for some reason the session password in the Node Configuration can no longer be accessed. Neither can the Packet, Encryption or RexFix fields.

User level is set to "expert".

    He's running v2.29 under Windows Server 2003 sp1.

    Any suggestions?

    Best regards,
    Marc

Under General Information, is there a password in the Password password area? If you're starting the cfg program from command line, you need to use the -p switch if one exists.

Is the reggie string and key correct?

About the only things I can think of.

    Good luck..

What in the world is going on with your system?? This is one of about 30 *ancient* messages that have showed up here all of a sudden. Not only in this Echo either...

Going to reply to the original posting here :) I had this problem once before and it results in somehow the user setting a password for REXCFG. I had to fix
this on a system that I set up. Unfortunately, I had to delete the REX files and start all over again, but I got it fixed. This is why I back up all my REX
files before, and after any changes (after I make sure the changes work as expected first).
