    IREX is able to function as a server to deliver the news via Echomail newsgroups? With other software should work together?

    Internet Rex can grab news from an NNTP server and convert them to PKT
    files and do just the reverse. Your mail packer/tosser needs to be
    able to do the rest.

    Yes, but the last version for Win32 is from few years ago and is a beta version
    :-(.

    so what? if it works, where's the problem??

    the OS/2 binaries released by johan are dated 2005... my self-compiled ones are
    dated 2006... both are the v1.0 code... there's been some few fixes and additions but i've not yet tried to update and see if it will compile for me...
    the point is that if the code works, we don't need a new binary all the time...
    shoot, i'm still using numerous binaries from 1991 for the tasks they were designed for ;)
