• HotdogEd removed from Google play

    From Sergey Poziturin@2:5020/2141.3 to All on Fri May 4 06:39:13 2018
    Hello, All.

    Today Google removed Hotdoged from Google play due to policy violation. I'll try to restore the removed stuff and to make it compliant. But for now you can access the software distributions for free via the site: http://hotdoged.propush.ru/downloads

    The violation details are the following:
    ==
    Google Play requires developers to provide a valid privacy policy when the app requests or handles sensitive user or device information. Your app requests sensitive permissions (e.g. camera, microphone, accounts, contacts, or phone) or user data, but does not include a valid privacy policy.

    Thanx for the info!
    I hope that it is not too much work to get it compliant.

    Yeah ... read today that Google will make some changes.
    Also in regard to the need to have a 64 bit version available.

    Well, for now I suppose that I just need to include the privacy policy :) And that's it.

    As it usually is with Google this will be another headache for developers.
