Actually, he has mentioned it. That said, it happened over a century and a half
ago. Those who perpetrated it died long ago. The Church has biult a monument for the victims at the site. In 1857, the memories of Governor Boggs of Missouri issuing an extermination order for all Mormons. Also, the US government was hostile to the Church and its members for no real reason. The LDS members living around the area of Mountain Meadows heard that the wagon train had Missourians in the party. They overreacted and attacked the train and
killed the people. That doesn't excuse what they did, but it gives an idea of their mindset at the time.
You do know that Glenn is a convert to the Church, don't you? 99.9999999% of LDS Church members have no connection with Mountain Meadows. Only an idiot would indict the entire LDS Church for a single incident that happened 153 years ago.
