• AllStar Nets

From Daryl Stout@1:19/33 to All on Thu Oct 23 22:54:21 2025
With Santa gifting me a Shark M1KE as an early Christmas present,
I can now do AllStar. So, my modes from the shack now are:

    1) AllStar (via the M1KE)
    2) Echolink (via Echolink Web or the Echolink desktop or smartphone app)
    3) D-Star (via the M1KE or the SharkRF OpenSpot 4 Pro)
    4) Winlink 2000 (via RMS Express
    5) APRS (via APRSIS32)
    6) D-Rats (via D-Rats 0.39)
    7) CQ200 (via their website interface)

I'm normally on the air only for nets, and for sked requests, which
have been few and far between.

The M1KE has become the Ham Radio Swiss Army Knife, and it's great for portability...and it saves having to build/configure/setup a Raspberry Pi
under Linux for it. I don't know much about a raspberry pi, but a pineapple upside down cheesecake sounds awfully good right now (hi hi).

While I maintain lists of D-Star, D-Rats, and Echolink Nets, in Excel and
PDF format off of the hyperlink on my QRZ bio, I was wondering if there was
a link to AllStar Nets. While I likely will not be adding any nets to run
(as I'm doing nearly 10 nets a week already), I would like to checkin to
    them.

If anyone has a URL or a list of these, please reply here, or email me
(my email is good on QRZ).

I may soon acquire some RF gear, mainly for working with Arkansas
Skywarn. I had done that since getting started in amateur radio over 34
years ago...but I got burned out on weather in early 2019, and nearly
quit the hobby. But, now that I've got my original callsign back as a
vanity, I'm looking into getting back into weather related items.

I'm not a meteorologist, but an amateur weather enthusiast. However,
I know enough to be dangerous...and I *DID* stay at a Holiday Inn Express
    last night (hi hi).

    73,

    Daryl, N5VLZ
