  • Renew vs Upgrade

    Question for you guys; My license is due to expire at the end of the year. Howver I've been thinking about going for my General License. If I pass the exam to get my general does the license expiration extend 10 years from that point, or will I still have to renew at the end of the year?

    Many years ago , when the F.C.C. gave tests I walked out with a Temporary license.
    I am thinking a new license has the full term of 10 years.

    Thats what I was hopeping/thinking but wasn't sure. I couldn't remember if back when I took the code if it changed the expiration date but that was quite a while back. :)
