    Hi everyone,

    It was brought to my attention Ward is in here making conspiracy theories about me.

    Nick emailed me and gave me permission to post a public message from the Z1C echo as a favor to sysops who may not read Z1C so I posted it in "Coordinator's Corner". That's all there is to it.

    Ward's histrionic ways have yet again reared their ugly head and yet again, true to form, Ward has made much ado about nothing and has in fact shown himself to be a fool for making up stories and lies about something that was indeed both consensual and trival which is why I posted that message.

    Speaking of lies, I should show you all the lies he spouted in the Fidonews when he got kicked out of the IC position in 2004 by a vote of his peers. It's a laugh riot. I'll publish this in the "Fidonet History" section in next week's Gazette so all of you new sysops can see that Ward is nothing but your garden variety liar.

    Thanks, Ward, as I was wondering what to put in next week's FG and you solved that problem for me. Appreciate your help. <G>

    You're welcome ... does that mean I'm now the reason for 1/3 of the FG-content actively demonstrating its uselessness?

    At least you'll get to 3 issues now with nothing new and regurgitated stuff ... just be happy I'm there as no-one else cares.

    Most posting here, did not see the most recent IC election, but it is as you said. Nominated by another, not contested at all. You ARE the IC as voted by the ZC's of the time. I'm afraid the messages aged off but it was seeminly about 6 months after Janis left and Nick became Z1C? Maybe a bit later.

    For the rest, former ZCs are guests in ZCC (Non-voting). Reasons for that seem to be to provide past experiences if relevant but perhaps validation of things may be a bit of it.

    I stayed quiet as Ward didn't make much comment, but yes. He IS the IC. I do not disagree and only the sitting ZCs can determine if they need a change.

    I see no reason for it to change.

    Please, if unsure what an IC does, check P4. They mostly cast deciding votes at ZC level if a tie...
