Just an update for those of you that we're curious about this.

Yes, I did manage to get things working nicely between Mystic 1.12 A35 and FrontDoor 2.33 mL

I used Netserial to create a virtual modem and have set up FD to communicate via that. Mystic in turn monitors for a semaphore when mail arrives and acts
on the inbound directory that FD deposits packets in to.

I have used the FD equivalent of a file box to point Mystic at for outgoing files to be sent via FD

JoHo and I have echomail and netmail running across fsxNet (Zone 21) spanning the 3 x NETs currently in use.

With other products I've been doing that since ... pffttt ... about 2000 ... as
that was the only way how my mailer/packer/tosser outfit could handle it.

That it works for FrontDoor really comes as mo surprise ... I might even try it

There's not that much to configure. What is it that you experience
being slow?

Windows 10 will be slow in a VM almost regardless. Using XP may (and is) a much
worth user experience but it sure is faster with way less resources required.

Ah, I missed that part :)

XP flies in VirtualBox on the laptop where I run it most of the time. Granted, this is a damn high-end laptop, but it seems to put almost zero load on the system, even during max file transfers, etc.
