For anyone who doubts that God Himself is behind earthquakes and other so-called "natural disasters", and that He is the one who causes the Earth
to shake in His displeasure, then I ask you to seriously consider the
following verses. There is no need for any attempts at private
interpretation, as they speak plainly for themselves:

"The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall
be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. For the day
of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and
upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: And upon all
the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are
lifted up, And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall, And upon
all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures. And the loftiness
of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low:
and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols he shall
utterly abolish. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day a man shall cast
his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of
the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and

shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their
evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of
the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger."

of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able

lightnings, and an earthquake."

"And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the
city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe
is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before

"And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great."
Revelation 16:18, KJV

God's Word has clearly spoken concerning this issue. If anyone tries to convince you that earthquakes and other catastrophic events are only
"natural disasters" which have nothing to do with God, do not believe them, because they are either ignorantly misguided, or else they are intentionally rebelling against the truth of God's Word, and trying to deceive you.
