Mubarak Falls! -- A De Facto Bloodless Military Coup!

The unexpected has just happened, and not a day too soon! Pressured by widespread popular discontent with his thirty-year plus iron-fisted dictatorship, and a powerful Egyptian military which refused to come to his aid, Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has just been ousted from power, and has fled to his distant palace at the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh. From the first news reports, it appears that even his newly-appointed vice president, Omar Suleiman, has likewise not been accepted by the Egyptian military, which is headed by the Armed Forces Supreme Council under the leadership of Defense Minister Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi.

While most of us are merely spectators to these developments that have just occurred in a faraway land, even we should be amazed that they would occur
at all. Much like Saddam Hussein, the former American-approved dictator of Iraq, for thirty-two years, Hosni Mubarak employed ruthless and unscrupulous means -- including the imprisonment and torture of countless thousands, and
the suppression of his political opponents -- in order to rule over his
people through fear and intimidation. His thugs, the police, were hated by
the Egyptian populace; and with good reason they fled from Cairo as the
popular uprising continued to grow throughout the city over the past few
    weeks.

In reality, Hosni Mubarak hasn't done anything different than what most
other Middle Eastern rulers have done, in order to maintain their hold on power; and, I might add, while the American government has looked the other way.

As I have mentioned to my readers many times before, it is my firm belief
that the U.S. Government really doesn't care what kinds of governments are
in control in foreign lands, just as long as they do America's bidding.
Hosni Mubarak was doing exactly that, by maintaining stiff control over a seemingly "stable" Egypt, while at the same time, upholding the
thirty-year-old peace agreement with Israel. Of course, Mubarak was richly rewarded for his loyalty to America, with over one billion US. dollars
coming into the Egyptian economy every single year for the past thirty
    years.

This fact alone should irritate all Americans, and should make them realize that while their country has hypocritically preached freedom and democracy
to the rest of the world, for over thirty years, it did absolutely nothing
to try to bring down Hosni Mubarak, or to sow the seeds of true democracy in Egypt. It merely looked the other way, with an occasional reminder regarding human rights, while Mubarak oppressed his own people.

In fact, you need to realize that if it were not for the brave, younger generation of Egyptians, who finally had the guts to stand up, and for the
most part peacefully demand their rights, Hosni Mubarak would still be in
power today. They are the ones who have brought about this amazing change.
The U.S. Government had absolutely nothing to do with it.

That this weak band of educated Egyptians were able to organize themselves online via such mediums as Facebook, and bring down such a powerful,
oppressive government in so short a time, is simply amazing. As I pointed
out in a previous post, the U.S. Government and military has been waging violent and bloody war in Iraq and Afghanistan for years now, and they STILL have been unable to achieve their objectives. In contrast, the students, workers, educated class, and even old people, have brought down a tyrant through largely peaceful means. That speaks volumes about America's violence and war efforts!

While I have referred to these events as a de facto bloodless military coup, please understand that this does not mean that no violence has occurred over the past weeks. It simply means that the Egyptian military has for the most part kept its hands clean of violence, and has honored and respected the
rights of the protestors to demand a better and brighter future for all Egyptians. It was in fact the Egyptian police, and other pro-Mubarak forces, who were behind most of the violence, which resulted in the deaths of
hundreds of people in several key Egyptian cities over the past several
    weeks.

Exactly what will happen next in Egypt is anyone's guess It seems that
everyone -- meaning all world governments, including the USA -- was caught totally off-guard by the events of the past few weeks. No one foresaw that
such an amazing thing could occur, particularly in so short a time.

As the mass media has been reporting over the past several weeks, the events
in Tunisia, and now in Egypt -- even more so in Egypt -- have sent a
shockwave across the lands of the Middle East. The oppressive monarchies, dynasties and rulers of the Arab and Muslim nations are now shaking in their boots, as they most certainly should be; because if a powerful ruler like
Hosni Mubarak can be brought down by a popular rebellion such as we have
just witnessed, anyone can be brought down.

While the compromising, politically-correct mass media may refer to these leaders as "authoritarian" or "autocratic" rulers, let's not mince words.
They are in fact all dictators, most of whom rule by unscrupulous, violent
and dishonest means. They are the garbage that needs to be taken out,
because it has stunk up the house!

So watch out tyrants! It seems that God is presently moving, and you may
just be in His way! Whether the people of the world realize it or not, God
is in control, and He is working behind the scenes. His Word makes it very clear that He brings down one ruler, and raises another. Consider the
    following verses:

"Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God
is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another."
    Psalms 75:5-7, KJV

"Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:"
    Daniel 2:20-21, KJV

"This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High
ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and
setteth up over it the basest of men."
    Daniel 4:17, KJV

"The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will."
    Proverbs 21:1, KJV

"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity
and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for
I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. Now therefore, I pray thee,
pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD. And
Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected
the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel."
    1 Samuel 15:23-26, KJV

So keep your eyes on the Middle East, folks; because for the last six
thousand years, it has been at the very center of Biblical events and
prophecy, and will continue to be so. Let's all wait and see what comes next
    on God's amazing timetable.
