Did any of you hear or read any of the speech that President Obama gave when
he received the Nobel Peace Prize? What a bunch of nonsense! Obama most certainly did not deserve that award! He has done nothing substantial to promote world peace.
All of the preaching that Obama did to the Nobel attendees regarding the so-called necessity of war, and how America has sacrificed so much for the
sake of the rest of the world, and how America's wars are so righteous and justified, made me sick! Has Obama forgotten that two world wars were fought
on European soil? If anyone knows about the price of war, and the horrors
and suffering which follow it, it is certainly the Europeans. It is easy to preach about the virtues of war when it is not occurring on your own soil.
Maybe the audience applauded to save face, but Obama's speech was a slap in
the face to the very people who gave him that award. He basically said
"Thanks for giving me this Nobel Peace Prize, but we Americans believe in
war."
Jesus clearly taught "Blessed are the peacemakers", and NOT the warmongers!
I warned you folks before that Obama is one sly politician. He sounded more like George W. Bush up there giving that Nobel speech, than the presidential candidate who only months ago claimed to want to end the wars. Sending an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan sure is a strange way to end a war,
if you ask me. The surge did not work in Iraq, and it will work even less in Afghanistan where the going is a lot tougher, and the enemy even more firmly entrenched.
America voted for Obama, now live with it! He is a back-peddling hypocrite, just like every president before him.
