For some reason, the "Nodelist" and "Recent Callers" features are not working.

I use Tide here with no problems but then I do not quote large
messages. How "large" are we talking?
I also had no problems. It's an issue that I just can't track, some users could totally bring tide to it's knees locking with a rte.
Could you please send me the IceEdit package so I can test it out
here? I can't find it anywhere.
It's old. :) I'll send it over later today.
As I mentioned before, Nick Andre has the latest "shareware"
structures. I have had a look around here but don't seem to be
able to find them. Put them in a "safe place", don't ya know!!
:)
I think I have a copy now,
I've found the difference between a real MSGINF and the new style msginfo.x. I'll write a quick hack by the weekend. ;) I did
manage via an update to my batch file to get Iedit working.
I'll send you the whole package when I'm done.
Could it have anything to do with the VM you're running it in?
Not received it yet... but there's no rush. I know you're busy at the moment.:)
I found a copy of the structures I sent Nick if you want them.

the whole package when I'm done.
Sent it...
Got it and thanks!
Yes, I received that but from the above, I thought "the whole
package" meant a little bit more. :)
Well I'm improving it and making it easy to configure now. When it gets to a point that my wife can install it then I'll write some docs
and send it over to you.
I'm back at square one with editors.
For some reason TIDE 1.11 locks up when /SOME/ users quote. I haven't been able to figure out what the difference is. I have used both
Syncterm and Mtel for Windows, and Syncterm for Linux and have no
issues quoting / posting large messages etc.
Before I jump ship to a different BBS package to get around the darn editor issue... Can anyone please tell me where I can get the newest
up to date structures, so I can write a fix program for the weird way
Ezy is using msgtmp / msginfo.x etc.

I wouldn't think so. If that's the issue is very VERY poorly written software. ;) I think it's something on the users end sending a command that is causing TIDE to crap itself, since it's only 2 users and both are using some weird dos setup.

'Aint that the truth. Will try to do that right now before I forget.

I've got something, but to be 100% sure yes I would love a copy please.

I believe I sent that to you in my previous email. :) it's only about 20 lines of code and it works a charm. Now I'm adding some more features to it so I can run a selection of editors. :)
